Idea XChange

Join the San Antonio Technology Center for some drinks and munchies and listen to how one San Antonio Entrepreneur took his start-up company to the finish line on Wednesday, February 24, 4-6pm 3463 Magic Dr. Ste 245 San Antonio.

The speaker this month is San Antonio Entrepreneur Matt Reedy. Matt is Director of Research & Development for SecureLogix Corporation. In this role, Matt participates in the overall product planning and roadmap process for SecureLogix’s enterprise telephony management (ETM) suite. He is also developing software for Voice over IP (VoIP) security. Prior to joining SecureLogix, Matt was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Armida Technologies Corporation, a San Antonio-based start-up developing hardware & software video-aware wireless products for surveillance and security applications. Previously, he was co-founder, and CEO of IntelliSolve Group, Inc., a business intelligence and data warehousing consulting firm that grew to 20 employees with offices in Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio. From 1984 to 1995, Matt was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of IQ Software Corporation, a software firm developing business intelligence products. He helped produce the business plan, raised the initial capital to begin development of the company’s flagship product, and wrote the first working versions of the software. After IQ Software’s $13.5 million IPO (NASDAQ:IQSW) in 1992, the company grew to more than $24 million in annual revenue and more than 170 employees. IQSW was purchased in October 1998 by another public company and was subsequently merged into Computer Associates. Matt earned a BS in Computer Science from Trinity University and an MBA from St. Mary’s University, both in San Antonio.

After the talk, Matt and the Idea Finishing School team will be around to answer questions.
