Houston, We Have A Problem!
Need help solving a technical problem? The Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program, (SATOP), wants to help. SATOP offers up to 40 hours of free engineering assistance for qualified requests, utilizing expertise of NASA scientists, engineers and other Alliance partners. A presentation will be given by Nick Gardner, program manager and Truth Camina, consultant for the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP). They have coordinated assistance for over 150 small businesses, allowing these companies to overcome technical challenges with new product development. SATOP is a cooperative program between the states of Florida, New Mexico, New York, and Texas. This outreach program has helped companies with machine design, process engineering, material selection, and many other technical issues. Over 3,000 requests have been processed since the program’s inception, and more than 2,500 resolutions have been provided to businesses. For more information, visit http://www.spacetechsolutions.com
